Operations Manager
Operations Manager
Fast-paced job that offers a variety of activities while managing all aspects of Landscape Maintenance, and crew support. This is a job that keeps you outside and, on the go, and gives you a high degree of control within your team. You achieve success by managing hours, quality, and safety in the field. This position reports directly to the general manager.
Compensation and Benefits Include:
- 55k+ a year based on experience

Responsibilities Include but NOT limited to:
- Manage multiple crews daily for maintenance, enhancements, during green season, and for snow removal in the winter.
- Monitors the process of getting crews out the door in the morning and managing workloads and scheduling needs.
- Support and communicate company vision, policies, procedures, and training programs to all field employees.
- Be familiar with each job’s specifications and achieve high quality within expected labor hours, materials, and cost.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials as needed.
- Manage operational issues and quickly implement alternative and creative solutions.
- Participate in the hiring and successful onboarding of new employees.
- Has authority in hiring, evaluating, disciplining, and termination of personnel.
- Encourage growth and development through training programs and succession planning.
- Lead by example in all tasks, always showing Evergreen Lawn Care’s “Passion for Detail” and setting high expectations for new and existing crew members.
- Adheres to and administers company policies and promotes company core values.
- The company operates on landscape industry specific business software. Familiarity and comfort with landscape industry business management software is a must.
- 2-4 years of experience as an Operations Manager with proven ability to train, nurture, and develop employees, and determine leadership skills in others.
- Excellent working knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance and snow removal issues.
- Willing and able to secure applicable operating and/or applicators licenses necessary.
Snow Operations
- Ensures the efficient transition from landscape season to snow season and back again
- Coordinates snow operation by creating a proactive approach to all season’s workloads including budgets, schedules, training, crew coordination, and communication.
- Actively participates in the snow program throughout the season.
EXPERIENCE
- Landscape Maintenance & Snow Removal 3 years minimum REQUIRED!
